WIN & ASSIMILATE
MATERNITY - CELL GROUP COORDINATION

The responsibilities of those who bring people to the Journey

BRINGING PEOPLE TO CHURCH is one of the Most Exciting experiences we can have as Disciples of Jesus Christ.  However, bringing people to church IS NOT ENOUGH – we have to help them STAY if we are to disciple them.  So, we have to create a strategy that will PRESERVE our visitors so that they attend for at least 4 Sundays and ultimately remain in the Journey to be discipled.  IF YOU BRING PEOPLE TO THE JOURNEY, here are some of your responsibilities

1.      THE CELL MEMBER must inform his cell leader – through text, Facebook or personally – ahead of time (to give time for the necessary adjustments) that he is bringing someone to church this coming Sunday.  He may also provide his cell leader some details (like, names, work or school and TIME OF SERVICE TO ATTED) of the visitors you are bringing to church.

2.      The CELL LEADER, after learning that his cell member is bringing someone to church, should make adjustments to attend the service where his cell member will bring his visitor/s.  This is an example of a sacrifice we need to make in order to facilitate the building of the Kingdom of God.

3.      If the CELL MEMBER will bring a visitor of a different sex than he is (for example, the disciple is a male and brings a female visitor), the CELL MEMBER has to inform Pastor Norman (0998.542.0072) for the Men and  Sis. Bebing (09999905982) for the Women and the TIME THE VISITOR WILL ATTEND.  The CELL MEMBER MUST BE WITH HIS OR HER VISITOR during the Service.

·         If the Cell member is FEMALE and brings a MALE VISITOR, text Pastor Norman.
·         If the Cell Member is MALE and bring a FEMALE VISITOR, text Sis. Bebing.
·         If the Cell Member is Male and brings a MALE VISITOR, text your Cell Leader.
·         If the Cell Member is Female and brings a Female Visitor, text your Cell Leader.

Pastor Norman and Sis. Bebing will inform and assign their Primary 12 to accommodate the visitors.

4.      The CELL LEADER must train their Cell Members to Lead the People they invite to church to Jesus Christ through the LORD’S PRAYER.   The CELL LEADER must provide training for his Cell Members in this Regard.  This is discipleship!

5.      DURING THE SERVICE:  (a) The CELL MEMBER introduces the VISITOR to his or her Cell Leader, (b) The CELL MEMBER WHO INVITED THE VISITOR must get the details of the person using our Visitor’s Card.  They must also sit beside their visitor during the service.

6.      The VISITOR CARD must go to the Cell Leader and Cell Group that will FOLLOW UP THE VISITOR.

7.     After the service the CELL LEADER and HIS/HER CELL MEMBERS could treat the visitor to some refreshments and introduce him/her to Jesus through the Lord’s Prayer (if the visitor has not already) and introduce the visitor to the cell group.  This should be done briefly but not in a hurry.

8.      The following day, Monday, the Cell Leader or any of his/her 12 texts the visitor.  “Thanks for visiting the Journey yesterday.  We hope you enjoyed the service.  God loves you and we do, too.”

9.     That Saturday, the Cell Group invites the visitor back to church through text.
